ELEC® and ELEC®plus components for hip arthroplasty bearing systems.
HiPer Medical manufactures ceramic femoral heads from high-purity alumina (ELEC®) and zirconia-toughened alumina (ELEC®plus). The available product table documents 12/14 taper variants from 28 to 48 mm; material and neck-length options vary by diameter.
The current product table lists 28 and 32 mm for ELEC®. ELEC®plus covers 28, 32, 36, 40, 44 and 48 mm. S, M, L and, for selected diameters, XL neck lengths are documented. Binding selection depends on the approved system documentation.
The femoral head, taper and counter-bearing must be evaluated as an approved system combination. OEM partners receive project-specific specifications; available customer information, certificates and quality documents are provided in the download area.
Ceramic femoral head is the professional component name. Search terms such as ceramic hip head or ceramic hip ball may refer to the same component but do not replace the technical designation.
The current product table lists 28, 32, 36, 40, 44 and 48 mm. Not every material or neck-length option is available for every diameter.
12/14 identifies the taper geometry. Compatibility must be checked for the specific stem-and-head system using the approved documentation.
