Zirconia-toughened alumina for ceramic hip components.
ELEC®plus is HiPer Medical's zirconia-toughened alumina (ZTA). The existing website assigns the material to femoral heads, acetabular liners and revision heads and references ISO 6474-2.
ZTA describes an alumina matrix containing zirconia. Specific material properties must be taken from the approved material specification; this page does not add unverified values.
